Free accounts also include one custom deck, up to 10 audio submissions a month and your 10 most recent draws in your profile. ComposerDeck Pro unlocks the depth: unlimited decks and submissions, your full draw history, PDF and PNG exports, advanced stats, named studio presets and custom deck cover art. The core daily practice will always stay free.

No. Email + password (or Apple / Spotify sign-in). No card, no trial timer, no surprise charge.

We are bootstrapped. ComposerDeck Pro funds the work (unlimited decks, submissions, history, exports, analytics and custom covers) while the daily practice stays free. We are not VC-backed and have no plans to be.

Yes, but each card has a lock toggle. Locked cards survive a re-draw. The point is to commit to discomfort, but we won't police you.

A constraint you must respect, not a tool you may use. Left Hand Only (play your main parts with your left hand), One Take (no editing, keep the mistakes), Speed Run (five minutes to lay down the whole structure). Some people love them, others hate them. Both reactions are correct.

A new hand opens every week, the same for everyone. Our curator can pick the cards for a coming week. If nobody has, the app deals the hand itself, with a mix of card types.

No. Cards are the brief, not an exam: each one says what to do in plain words. Swap any card you don't understand. That's what re-draw is for.

Yes. We are tool-agnostic. Logic, Ableton, FL Studio, Bitwig, Reaper, paper, voice memos: whatever you compose with.

No. We help you compose, we do not compose for you. That is a feature, not a missing one.

You choose between 1 and 6. If you're new, start with one: a single chord or mode is plenty.

Pick any of your draws, from your profile or the feed, and add your take. There is no deadline. Paste a SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify or Vimeo link, or upload an audio file (MP3 or WAV, up to 10 MB). Your take stays tied to that draw.

Yes, anytime, from your profile. Comments and hearts go with it.

You do, 100%. We do not claim your copyright, and we do not license or distribute your music to anyone else. We only host it so it can play on ComposerDeck. Delete anytime.

No. A take you post is public. You can delete it anytime from your profile.

Profile → Account systems → Delete account. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm. Irreversible. Consider downloading your data first.

Yes. Profile → Account systems → Download my data. You get a JSON file right away with your profile, draws, takes (with their links), favorites, hearts and comments. Audio files are not included.

Yes. Edit profile → toggle "Private profile". Only you can see your draws, favorites and stats. Your takes stay in the feed, without your name. Your handle is hidden on the leaderboard and on share pages.

Use the Report button on any take. A person on the team reviews every report within 24 hours. One serious breach of the Terms and the account is closed, without a warning first. We're strict on harassment, indifferent on bad music.

No, and none is planned. The community lives in the app: the weekly challenge, the feed of takes and the comments under each one. For anything else, email us.
